Need a diet plan or menu plan that’s easy and 1200 calories and less than 100 grams of carb? Well here it is. The below menu and diet plan gives you a simple chicken based menu for the day that you can follow every day until you lose the weight.

The trick to losing weight for most people is to reduce carbs while eating plenty of protein. In this sample 1200 calorie per day menu below  incorporates chicken breast that cost about $3 a can. You can also substitute tuna instead or bake your own chicken breast or quickly bake skinless/boneless chicken as a substitute for can chicken.

You also should eat 5 meals per day to keep your metabolism high. Eat every 2 to 3 hours and never skip meals, especially breakfast. The 1100 to 1200 calorie diet plan below is to prepare. It requires one can chicken per day with a chosen vegetable preferably something green like green beans, spinach, greens or broccoli.

BREAKFAST

Oatmeal   or  3 egg whites ….. 200 cal
Protein  shake   ……200 cal

MID DAY AFTERNOON

1 Servings: Chicken Breast salad …… 100 cal
1 serving = 1/6 of below content

  1. Can  (12 ounce of canned chicken breast or tuna)
  2. 1 can diced tomatoes (drained)
  3. ½ cup light mayonnaise
  4. 1 tablespoon honey
  5. 1 cup celery, thinly sliced
  6. ½ cup grapes halved
  7. 1/3 cup pecans chopped

In medium bowl combine all ingredients and stir. Cover and chill

Veggie (fresh or frozen …try green beans or  broccoli and season to taste)  ….. 50 cal

LUNCH

Chicken Breast Salad …. Cal 200 cal
2 servings

Veggies …..  50 cal

Mid Day Afternoon

1 serving Chicken Breast Salad ……. 100

DINNER

1 Baked or grilled chicken breast     ….. 250 cal
or 4 ounce baked Salmon  …… 200 cal
or 2 servings Chicken Breast Salad  ……. 200 cal

with
Veggies (fresh or frozen …try green beans or  broccoli and season to taste)   … 50 cal

 

Total Calories …. 1200  
Carbs less than  100 grams
