1400 Calorie Diet Plan and Easy Menu

This diet menu plan rages from 1200 to 1400 calories and all you have to do to adjust the 1400 menu plan is to vary breakfast and dinner and your total calorie consumption is 1200 calories to be exact.  This is a higher protein and low carb diet. The carbs come primarily from vegetables and salad. Protein comes from high protein sources like chicken and Salmon.

Try this diet for 3 to 5 weeks and watch the weight fall off. As we always state, be sure to eat at least 5 times per day to keep your metabolism high.  So if you’re looking to stay under 1200 or 1300 calories with simple and easy to fix food,  ….. here it is. 

If you want to maintain 1200 calories per day, this menu will get you there.  If you feel hungry after trying this diet, then try another one of our plan because the total carbs in this diet menu is very low. Some people need more carbs to function. However, this plan will get the weight off.



3 egg whites  or substitute egg …… 100 cal


Protein Shake   ….. 200 cal

Grilled / baked   Chicken breast…… 250 cal

Small salad (with light dressing)  or green veggie ……. 150 calories



1 serving Nuts (try Almonds)  …… 200 cal


Protein Shake  ….. 200 cal


Grilled / baked   Chicken Breast or 2 skinless and boneless chicken breast   …… 250 cal
Veggie (no potatoes) such as green beans, spinach, greens or broccoli  and season to taste …. 50 cal


6 ounce Baked Salmon and season to taste    …….350 cal

Veggie (no potatoes) such as green beans, spinach, greens or broccoli  and season to taste …. 50 cal

Total Calories:  1200 - 1400
