How an Extra 300 to 700 Calories Can Help You Lose Weight

Contrary to popular opinion, nuts have fat burning properties and actually help you more fat despite their high fat and high calorie content.   There are good fats and bad fats.  Good fats come from monosaturated  fats found in olive oil, and some fish which actually help your body burn more body fat.

Studies have shown that people who ate more nuts on a controlled calorie diet burn ed more fat and loss weight quicker than those that did not any eat any nuts. The bottom line ……..  don’t be afraid to add nuts to your diet plan and add plenty of nuts,  even  2  to 4 servings a day.

The nuts you eat should be high quality nuts  such as almonds, walnuts, pistachio or cashews.  Always eat dry roasted nuts and never the kind that has been roasted in oil.

Some people have a hard time with nuts in that they can’t stop eating them once they get started. The remedy is to place 2 servings of nuts in a plastic sandwich bag and make that bag your limit. You can divide the contents of the nuts into individual sandwich bags. In other words if you buy a bag of nuts  and the nutritional statement on the back says …… 8 servings  then use 4 small sandwich bags and divide the contents equally among 4 bags.  This will give you 2 servings per bags.  Take the bags of nuts to work with you and have at least 2 servings per day or 1 small bag that you created.

Don’t be scared off by the 170 calorie content per serving  of nuts …….. 2 to 4 servings of nuts per day along with a balance diet will actually help you burn more fat and lose weight.
