 Healthy Eating Choices & Tip

 

The best way to diet and lose weight is to not think of yourself on a diet. Concentrate on developing good and healthy eating choices and don’t focus on the scale. This diet tip focuses on reducing carbs from your diet and eliminating junk carbs from white flour, pasta and sugar …… all the main culprit of junk carbs which prevent weight loss.

Junk carbs elevate blood sugar level and causes your body to produce excess insulin. This excess insulin signals your body to store fat rather than burn fat which is why it’s so hard to lose weight on even a low calorie diet that is full of carbs, especially junk carbs.

Many people have trouble losing weight because of junky carbs which come in the form of white flour and sugar. Eliminate this from your diet and watch the weight fall off. Substitute carbs with protein. Instead of cereal or oatmeal for breakfast,  choose a protein shake with a fruit or egg whites / egg substitute with a fruit or no sugar yogurt.  Don’t be afraid to start the morning out with meat such as a turkey patty or lean beef or ham patty. 

Develop healthy eating habits by reducing your overall carb consumption and especially junk carbs from bread, pasta and sugar. If you like burgers for lunch …….. great, but instead of eating the entire bun, eliminate the top half of the bun and if possible, request whole wheat bread.  Instead of French fries (the worse kind of junk carbs),  eat beans or salad or a green vegetable which are much better choices.

For dinner, your only carb source should come from vegetables, preferably green or yellow vegetables. Absolutely no white potatoes or white rice.  Eat a lean meat along with a veggie such as spinach, greens, green beans, corn, asparagus, squash or broccoli.

By eliminating junk carbs from bread, pasta, potatoes and sugar from your diet, you will lose weight and keep losing weight. Most people struggle with weight loss because of bad choices of food in too much quantity. By reducing carbs from bread, cereal, pasta and sugar and adding more vegetables to your diet, you will automatically start losing weight and burning more fat.
