Subway Diet - Can I Lose Weight?

I saw the commercial about how Jarred lost more than 100 pounds by eating Subway sandwiches. Can you really lose a lot of weight by eating Subway sandwiches. Sounds like a good diet to try. What do you think?

Dear Eddie,

Subway sandwiches are a good part of a healthy diet and we recommend Subway sandwiches in our personal diet plan. Like the old saying goes,  “everything in moderation” and that also applies to eating Subway sandwiches.

Subway is a great place to go for lunch where you can get a sandwich that’s a little over 300 calories and 7 grams of fat. However, we don’t suggest you eat Subway sandwiches all day, every day.  Your diet needs variety so you get a balance of nutrition found in fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts and so on.

If you ate only Subway sandwiches, you would not get much of a balance diet. So enjoy your Subway for lunch or dinner but don’t have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner as some kind of fad diet plan. Always add a fruit from home with your sandwich when you eat.
